In truly ironic fashion, former title-track 'Sway' makes a last gasp attempt at the summit and succeeds! As season 2 drew to a close, points got hard to come by, with a measly 6 point gain lifting 'Sway' above 'Yellow Moon' to claim the championship. Elsewhere, last season's winner 'Walk In The Rain' slipped quietly into the relegation zone, swapping places with 'Radio Four Song' in the process. No moves for any of the other contenders, in what has been a poor end-of-season run-in. In the geographic top 10, predictably the UK came out on top with a 42-point lead over our friends in Sweden. Only Italy managed to rise this time around, moving into 3rd spot ahead of France. Denmark carried off the wooden spoon. So there it is folks, the final tables for all to see - congrats to 'Sway' for being the winner, whatever 'winner' means! Now check out the songs in crispy-clean format - buy the CDs and never wait for files to download again! So long pop-pickers, sleep tight and Stay Alive...
